Lifegroups
Weekly gatherings are comprised of meeting together in homes for a time of fellowship, worship, discussion, and prayer. House meetings are mentioned many times in the New Testament as a way for the church to be trained and to experience life together.
Lifegroup leaders function as the pastors or shepherds of the church by praying for, loving, and serving its members. Involvement in a Lifegroup helps church members experience the love and care that each one needs.
Lifegroups are available by age category for Youth and College. Our Family lifegroups are divided into "zones" according to stage of life with a Zone Pastor who oversees the Lifegroups in that zone. The Young Adult Zone has Lifegroups designed for those in their twenties and thirties who are single or newly married and just starting their families. The Family Zone has groups designed for families with children from pre-school through high school. The Caleb Zone has groups designed for those 45 and over who generally don't have children involved in Lifegroup or living at home.
Lifegroups usually rotate their meeting locations. So, make sure you stop by the Welcome Center for a current list of Lifegroups. Or, find a group here.
Acts 2:42-47
They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
