Living Out Vision20

Vision20 is the result of hundreds of hours of meetings, prayer, fasting, and seeking God that began in the summer of 2007. With a charge from the Lord to look back over 20 years of His faithfulness and to plan for the next 20 years, our leadership team spent the next 18 months seeking input from leaders throughout the body of Christ, leaders in our church, and our congregation as a whole. Full of faith that the things that God put before us are not only doable but have been initiated by Him, we have great hope that He will accomplish them through us.

Our delight and desire is that we will fall more in-love with Jesus as we love God, love others, and love those who don’t yet know Him. Through this planning process, we continually heard that we are to live out these simple Kingdom values and to expand and reproduce them in a more strategic and focused way just as we have seen modeled in the New Testament church. By living out these values and listening to God and obeying Him, we believe that any community of believers will have an impact on the world around them. As we journey together, we believe our hearts will be encouraged and strengthened to love and to know Him more - and that out of a heart for those who do not know Him, whether here or to the farthest corners of the world, they will have the opportunity to hear and to know the Good News.
