Frequently Asked Questions about FPU
How often do the classes meet?
Classes are held once per week for 13 weeks. Classes will begin at the beginning of the Summer, Fall, and Spring. For more details please visit DaveRamsey.com where there is always an updated listing of our classes.
When and where can I register?
1. You can either register online at daveramsey.com, or
2. Attend one of our previews the weeks before the class starts and purchase your membership kit.
3. Sign-ups will end the night before the class starts.
Is childcare provided?
Childcare will be provided during the 10:15 class on Sunday mornings. If your child is in Quest or Journey we ask that your child only attend one class (They can either accompany you to the service or the FPU class). If your child is in the nursery, they can be left in their class for both services.
How long is each class session?
Each class session lasts approximately and hour and a half to two hours.
Hour 1: Financial teaching by Dave Ramsey via video.
Hour 2: Small groups. The small group discussions will help you apply the principles to your daily life. You and your group members will support each other and hold each other accountable as you work together to transform your financial future. The small group discussions are crucial because when it comes to personal finances, it's only 20% head knowledge and 80% behavior!
What happens if I miss one class? Can I make it up?
As part of your lifetime membership to FPU, you will receive the audio portion of all 13 lessons in your kit.
How many classes do I need to attend in order to graduate?
You must attend 12 of the 13 classes to qualify for a graduation certificate.

How much does this program cost?
The program costs $100 for each family. The costs cover all the class materials and the cost of shipping. Scholarships are available for those in need. We do ask that each family pays towards the course as much as they possibly can (whether this is $100 or $25).
